3-5 Alpha Math

Rico Sneller Bio

I am so excited to be an Alpha math teacher! I love math, and truly believe that it is everywhere. More than anything, I believe that anyone can learn to not only be good at math, but to enjoy it. I grew up in the Dallas area, and went to school at Tufts University, near Boston, where I majored in Clinical Psychology. I taught 4th grade math and science at McGowen Elementary before joining the Alpha team, and was at a wonderful charter school in south Dallas before that. I love board games, Rubik’s cubes, origami, and all other kinds of fun, everyday math. I have a wonderful wife, Liz, and a wonderful daughter, Sammy, and together we take care of our wonderful dog, Fawkesie. I am looking forward to a great year working with kids from all over McKinney!
