4th Grade ELAR Teacher/Team Lead
Diana Hamill Bio
Greetings! I am so excited to be teaching fourth-grade ELAR here at Wilmeth. I’m blessed to be in a field where I get to share my love of writing, literature, and history with our next generation of leaders.
A proud graduate of Oklahoma State University, I received my degree in Elementary Education. There I met my husband, Dustin, an engineer and lover of all things related to fishing. We have two children- Jake is following in his father’s footsteps and is working on an engineering degree at Oklahoma State. Gabby is an eighth grader at Cockrill and spends all of her spare hours in the dance studio.
I was born in St Cloud, Minnesota and take as many trips as possible to see my very large extended family. Growing up, we also lived in Iowa, Missouri, and finally settled in Stillwater, Oklahoma where my father is a journalism professor at OSU. I’m a third generation teacher, so it’s in my blood!
My spare time is spent reading, cooking, watching sci-fi and fantasy shows, driving to dance competitions, and spending time with my family.
