Brittany Caballero

Brittany Caballero Bio

Howdy! My name is Brittany Caballero and I am a Kinder teacher at the best school, Wilmeth Elementary! This will be my tenth year of teaching and my ninth year as a Longhorn. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2007. Go Red Raiders! I went on to receive my Master’s in Elementary Education at Wayland Baptist University. I am certified to teach early childhood through 4th grade. Do you want to know what fueled my passion to become an educator? While in college I studied Biology and Chemistry with aspirations of going to medical school. While I was away at school, my youngest brother began school. He struggled to read and began to have behavior problems at school due to his frustration. I quickly started to research and learn ways to help my family while I was away at school. Over that next year, I began to watch the transformation my brother took because of the love and dedication from his teacher at the time. This truly inspired me, and after visiting with this incredible educator I knew where my heart desired to be…education! I absolutely love teaching and believe that every child should love learning and will succeed as well!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I have been blessed with two amazing little boys, Jonah and Elijah. We also love spoiling our little chihuahua, Ollie. I am very blessed to be a Longhorn and look forward to having many more years in McKinney ISD! Go Wilmeth Longhorns!
