Bridget Loya Bio

Welcome back Longhorns!

I am extremely grateful to have you in my classroom this year. We will have a fabulous time in 5th grade together. During this school year I will be challenging you, but most importantly we will have fun all at the same time. So I hope you are ready for the adventure we are about to start! Please bring those positive attitudes and your thinking caps every day!
I want to know all about you, but first I would like to tell you a few things about myself. I am very thrilled to be part of this school district. I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas which is a city down south right along the Gulf of Mexico. I graduated from the University of A&M Corpus Christi with a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have taught in both private and public schools while also coaching a variety of sports throughout the school years.
For this school year, it will be important that we strive to set new goals that we can achieve individually and together. It will take us time to complete those goals but we need to work hard so we can accomplish anything. We will have activities to help develop the creative skills and interests of each student. I hope to make this academic year just as fun as it will be educational.

Love your teacher,

Ms. Loya
