Kindergarten Teacher

Allison Robinson Bio

Hi!  I grew up in Texarkana, Texas, spent 4 years living in Springfield, Missouri, moved to McKinney in 2008, and then went a little further down the road to Little Elm in 2018.  I went to college at Texas A&M-Texarkana where I received my teaching certificate in EC-4th grade. I am married to Scott, also from Texarkana and we have 2 sons, Carter and Maddox. Scott works in HR, Carter attends Cockrill Middle School, and Maddox is at Wilmeth.   My first year of teaching was the 2004-2005 school year and I taught Kindergarten in Mountain Grove, Missouri.  I spent the next 3 years teaching Kinder in Willard, Missouri, just outside of Springfield. I began teaching Kinder at Wilmeth when we moved to McKinney in ’08.  I feel so blessed to be able to say that I truly love my what I do each day!  Since the first day of my student teaching, I knew teaching young children was where I belonged-the classroom is my happy place.  I hear people say that they don’t know how teachers do it-I can’t imagine doing anything else!  When I’m not at school, I love to shop, visit Canton, read, and craft.
