I am very excited about the privilege to teach students from all around McKinney ISD. I am passionate about making math fun and also applicable to real life. It is important to me that students develop both problem-solving and critical thinking skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
I grew up in Seal Beach, California and attended Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts where I received a degree in Economics. I also have a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Baylor University, and a teaching credential from the University of North Texas.
I taught 1st and 5th grade at McGowen Elementary in McKinney before joining the MISD GT program. I am lucky to share this life with my husband, Brad, our two children Ben and Madeline, and one very furry dog named Oliver!
