Michelle McHugh Bio
I am so excited to be a part of Walker Elementary supporting our staff, students, and community. I am from Kentucky, where I began teaching, and spent five years teaching in Lewisville ISD. After that, I was an Instructional Coach for two years at several MISD elementary schools. I received my Elementary Education degree from the University of Kentucky (go Cats!) and my master’s in Reading Education and Principal Certification from Texas Woman’s University. My husband and I moved to Texas in 2012 and have two little girls, which is how we spend most of our time outside of work! I am beyond blessed to be a part of this amazing district and school and am looking forward to a fabulous year.
