New student registration for 2021-22: May 3 – May 27, 2021

Registration is NOW OPEN until May 27, 2021 for new elementary K-5 students to MISD.  It is highly recommended that you register early to guarantee a spot at your home campus.  Students that are currently enrolled in PreK or speech programs or K-5 will receive a “SnapCode” via email the week of June 7 to reenroll.  These students are automatically guaranteed a spot for next year.

You will be asked to upload the following documents during the registration process. The following information is required for new students to enroll in McKinney ISD schools.

  • Proof of Residency – Must be a current utility bill, gas, water or electric, house contract with closing date and/or lease with signatures. If the closing or moving date is after September 1 of the current school year, monthly tuition payments shall be made until the closing date per MISD Board Policy.
  • Student’s Social Security Card (preferred)
  • Student’s Birth Certificate
  • Updated Shot Records
  • Parent/Guardian Driver’s License

There is no in person Kinder Round Up this year.  However, once your enrollment is complete, Press Elementary will share a virtual Kinder Round Up with you as well as invitations to in person new student summer events.
