Books on iPads, Computers, or other Devices

It’s time to read at Lawson!  Whether you are checking out books from our library or looking for eBooks for your device, we have some great options. Our school uses several electronic book platforms that you can access at home or on the go.

The first is called PebbleGo. PebbleGo is a website and mobile app that offers nonfiction books for all ages. The books contain maps, diagrams, and even videos, and the audio can be turned on so that students can read along with a narrator. We cannot provide our password information on this public website, but if you email your teacher or the librarian, they can share the login with you.

Another resource is TumbleBooks. Tumble is an incredible site and mobile app that offers animated versions of printed books, often narrated by the authors themselves. Books are available in English and Spanish. Tumble has both story books and nonfiction, and the selection is amazing. Mrs. McKee’s favorites are books by Robert Munsch. The author reads with so much spirit and enthusiasm! Again, we can’t share the login information on this website, but your teacher or Mrs. McKee can share it with you upon request.

The library also has a limited number of digital books in its collection that are accessible through our library system, Destiny Discover. The username for this site is the letter “s” + the six-digit student ID number; the password is “puppies.”
