Naesha Parker

Counselor

Naesha Parker Bio

My name is Naesha Parker, and I am the new School Counselor for Reuben Johnson Elementary. I was born and raised in Oklahoma City, where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Accounting. I also received my master’s degree in School Counseling from Lamar University. The start of my teaching career began in Dallas Independent School District where I taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First grade. I went on to teach third grade for Irving ISD. For the last three years, I have been an elementary school counselor for Irving ISD.

I currently live in Frisco with my husband, Marcellus and our two children, Elijahand Makenzie. We spend our spare time attending Elijah’s athletic events, watching movies, and playing board games. As the school counselor for Johnson Elementary, my goal is to help build resilient students, who are  socially and emotionally aware of self and others. I believe in the success of all students and I strive to build positive relationships with the students, staff, and parents. I look forward to a successful school year and cannot wait to meet and be a part of the Jaguar community!
