Jorge Puente Bio
I am a proud graduate from Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas. I graduated in the Spring of 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Fitness & Sports. I am currently certified to teach Physical Education in all levels.
My teaching career began during my junior year in high school when I decided to become a tutor. I was a tutor for seven years and was fortunate enough to tutor students in various subjects from elementary to high school. During my last two years of college, I was given the opportunity to student-teach at two elementary schools and intern at a high school.
After graduation, I decided to move in the northern Dallas area which led me to become a substitute teacher for McKinney ISD. In my experience as a substitute, I was able to view multiple schools and P.E. settings. I was then fortunate enough to receive the opportunity to become the official P.E. coach at Eddins. I am very excited and look forward to the upcoming year. Lets develop healthy & active students!
